These days it’s so hot here in Bangalore you guys!
Most days I forget to hydrate myself and end up with really dry, dehydrated and cracked lips. I have a few lipbalms. But they just weren’t working for me. So I went on a hunt to find a really good lipbalm. From the unheard of lip balms to the most popular ones. I was also looking out for a hydrating facepack and walked into SaND (in Forum Mall – Koramangala).
(Above pic from the oh so vast internet!)
Although I didn’t find what I stepped into the store for, at the billing, I saw these 3 little jars with these tiny lipbalms with the cutest packaging! Since they were small, I thought I would give it a try. I grabbed ”Lips Don’t Lie – Saffron”
SaND claims “Our products are inspired by traditional Indian home recipes.” I couldn’t agree more. Once I reached home and opened the lid, I got this soft wiff of fresh saffron. I instantly knew this little guy is gonna nourish my lips!
I love how perfectly tinted the balm is. Here is a swatch.
What I love:
Once applied, it looks very natural and adds only a touch of color which looks ever so natural.
It has a very smooth, butter like texture.
The moisture from the balm clings around for about 3-4 hours.
Something else I love about this particular balm is that it makes your lips look and feel plump instantly as well!
Also, it instantly nourishes and repairs your lips!
What I am not sure if everyone would love:
The scent of saffron! Although I personally don’t mind the fresh scent of Saffron, I am not quiet sure if everyone would like that. It is not very strong but not that mild either. However, if you can look past the scent, the product is worth it.
Since it is only a balm, the tint it doesn’t last very long. Looks pretty for about an hour or 2 and one would need to reapply for the tint.
I’ve noticed that a lot of people are not ok with dunking your fingers into the product. Again, if you can over look this, great buy!
Will I repurchase? – Yes, most definitely!
PS- Can you guys please recommend a good face mask? 🙂
